A note from Captain Scott:
Did you ever notice on most private sailboats that there is one male Captain
and one female crew? One day it dawned on me that if I ever went overboard
and was lost there was a very real risk my beautiful bride would not be
able to get back safely! Yes, I was the DO IT ALL Captain! I`m here
offering my services to anyone who simply wants to be able to sail.
No stress, no books, no class rooms, no tests.
This is a very real, very hands on chance for you to learn to handle your
own sailboat or one of ours. You pick what you want to learn. Wouldn`t
be great to be able to spend a couple of hours practicing docking a boat
without the added stress of miscommunication? Or maybe, at the very least,
be able to confidently use your VHF radio to call for help? Have you ever
wanted to take the tiller without the fear of being scolded for not watching
the sails? Well, we are here to offer all that just for you. Very personalized
very small classes. How long we take, what we learn, and how much you want to
learn is all up to you. We will even let you select which of our boats more
accurately represents the type of sailing you would like to do.
